Well, like many of you, I was worried about Lynda, because she hadn't written a blog in a while. So I called her and was very happy to hear that she's fine! Such good news! I may be in trouble for this call, I don't know how much it will cost. My mom seems worried about it. I told her I'd pay. But I really didn't know they still even had local calling areas! Oh, boy!

We had a bakelite phone on a party line in New Zealand :)
ReplyDeleteWith cell phones being so ubiquitous, long distance charges would never cause a thought. If there are charges, I hope they are reasonable.

ReplyDeleteI don't have a cell phone. I don't know about international calls on cell phones. I used our land line, and I called her land line. Which is supposed to be cheaper than calling her cell phone. So that's good!
